Beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed away unexpectedly June 22, 2017 at her home at the age of 58 years.

The daughter of the late Martin and Dorothy (Chaltraw) Thornton, Cindy was born January 26, 1959 in Saginaw.  She was a certified nurse’s assistant.

She is survived by 3 children, Tanya Duma, John-Wayne Hernandez and Joseph Hernandez; her grandchildren, Carmen, Breana, Antonio, Jessa, Ariana, Alena, Elissa, Gabby, Gage, Amelia, Zay, Joe Joe, Jacob, Katie, Lizzy, Jayden, Jordan, Joszlynn, and Joiceann; great grandchildren, Lilly and Jackson; her siblings, Tom, Glenn, Mark, Connie, and Todd.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa Lavette and her late husband John Wayne Hernandez.

Funeral Service will take place 3:00 p.m.  Wednesday, June 28th at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave with Pastor Edward Meyer officiating.  Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
