Joe Gutierrez passed away September 23, 2017 at home at the age of 60 years.  The son of the late Julio and Cecelia (Perez) Gutierrez, Joe Anthony Gutierrez was born May 13, 1957 in Saginaw.  He was a 1975 graduate of the Saginaw High School and served his country in the United States Air Force from 1978 to 1982.

Joe was employed in the Medical Records Dept. at hospitals in Lansing, Chicago and Omaha prior to his retirement in 2014 when he returned to Saginaw.

Surviving are a daughter, Corina Gutierrez of San Antonio, Texas; special friend, Linda Bradford; 2 sisters, Thomasa (Julian) Guerrero of Austin, Texas and Debra (Richard) Gonzales of Saginaw; a brother, Walter Rocha of Saginaw; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Terrasas in 2001.

The family would like to extend a special thankyou to V.N.A. Hospice and especially to Nema and Brian.

Funeral Service will take place 2:00 p.m. Friday at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw.  Fr. Joseph A. Schabel will officiate.  Full military honors will be accorded at the funeral service.  Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
