Mary C. Fairchild passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at home at the age of 59 years.  The former Mary C. Rodarte was born September 25, 1958 in Gary, Indiana.  She was graduate of Bridgeport High School and was employed as a waitress in the Saginaw Area for many years.  She was married to Cyrus L. Fairchild III and he preceded her in death June 6, 2017.  She was a member of Calvary Community church, enjoyed painting and tending to her dog “Cha Cha”.

Mary is survived by 2 children, Joshua (Holly) May and Christina (Lance) Edgington; a step-daughter, Amy Hastedt; her parents, Francisco and Josefina Hernandez; 10 grandchildren; 5 brothers and 1 sister, Edward Rodarte, Ismael Rodarte, Matilde “Matty” Rodarte, Amadore Rodarte, Francisco Hernandez, and Patricia Kosecki; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Rosa Ramirez.

Memorial Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Community Church located at 2895 E. Moore Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48601, Pastor Ted Doolittle will officiate.  Friends may visit with the family at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.  Interment will take place at Bridgeport Cemetery at a later date.
