Craig William Burnell, age 62, of Saginaw passed away March 26, 2024, at home. Son of the late Louis N. Burnell and Marlene (Yare) Burnell. Craig was born December 26, 1961, in Saginaw. He attended South Middle School where he was a standout football player on the Junior High School team. While playing halfback, Craig broke many of the rushing records that are on the books at South Middle School. He then went on to graduate from Arthur Hill School in 1979.

Craig is survived by 2 siblings, Sheila (Nicholas) Paccione of Saginaw and Louis A. (Lisa) Burnell of Saginaw, 3 nephews and 1 niece, Jeff Paccione, Kevin Burnell, Bryan Burnell, and Natalie Douglas.

No Services are planned. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw.
