David F. Brandel Sr.

David F. Brandel Sr., age 64 passed away September 24, 2019 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit following a brief illness.  The son of the late Richard and Sophia Brandel, David was born April 8, 1955 in Saginaw.  He married the former Connie Francis on October 11, 1975 in Saginaw.  David was co-owner of Projection tool, Inc in Saginaw at the time of his death.  Mr. Brandel loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.  He also enjoyed playing golf, fishing, bonfires, and cheering for the Detroit Lions.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Connie; dear children, David (Melissa) Brandel Jr., Michelle (Joshua) Wiskup, and Nicholas Brandel; 9 grandchildren, Alexandria, Alexus, Ashlyn, Hunter, Ayrianna, Rylee, Ainsley, Braydee and Bentley; 12 brothers and sisters, Duane Brandel, Shirley (Rodney) Brown, Ed Brandel, Bill Brandel, Bob (Virginia) Brandel, Joe (Diane) Brandel, Cindy (Jim) Castanier, Tony (Michelle) Brandel, Cheryl (Rich) Rizer, Jackie (Joe) Kirby, Peggy Hatzistavrakis, and Richard Brandel; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Rick Bublitz.

He was preceded in death by 2 siblings, Jim and Kathleen Brandel; and a niece Jill.

Memorial Service will take place 7:00P.M. Tuesday at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw with Pastor Julie Bailey officiating.  Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 P.M. until time of service at 7:00 P.M.
