Helen B. Neumeyer

Helen B. Neumeyer, age 87 of Saginaw, Michigan passed away May 22, 2019 at Toni & Trish House in Auburn.  The daughter of the late John and Gertrude (Prenzel) Eckstorm, Helen was born February 15, 1932 in Saginaw.  She married Wallace “Pete” Neumeyer on February 16, 1950.  Helen had been employed at Saginaw General Hospital, then with Morley Brothers, and later by Lawyers Title Insurance Co. where she retired from in 1997.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church-Amelith, and the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.  Helen was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.

Surviving are 5 children, Jeanne (James) Meddaugh, James (Lori) Neumeyer, Connie (Nick) Makl, Paul (Kelly) Neumeyer, and Judy (Doug) Warren; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace “Pete” Neumeyer on October 16, 2018; and by 2 great-grandchildren, Dustin Kaleyta and Becca Makl; and her sister, Hildegard Bennett.

Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church-Amelith with Pastor Stephen P. Starke officiating.  Interment will be at John Lutheran Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw on Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
