James Aaron Rosas, age 35 of Saginaw passed away July 24, 2018 at Covenant Healthcare.  Mr. Rosas was born February 28, 1983 in Saginaw.  Following high school, he graduated from Culinary College in Florida.  He was employed as a chef at several restaurants and most recently at Logan’s Steakhouse in Saginaw.

Surviving are 2 children, Shyanna Rosas, and James Rosas Jr.; 2 step-children, Cecelia Cooper and Roxanne Cooper; 5 brothers and sisters, Roshun Rosas, Elijah Shorter, Octavia Rosas, Aissa Shorter, and Shaaraazad Shorter; 1 aunt, Marlena Rosas; 2 uncles, Ralph (Alexandra) Rosas, and Carlos Rosas Jr.; and his grandmother, Mary Alice Rosas.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vida Rosas; his grandfather, Carlos Rosas; and uncle Isaac Rosas.

Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw.  Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
