Richard A. Smith of Saginaw passed away January 10, 2018 at home after an extended illness at the age of 68 years.  The son of Ancil and Violet Smith, Richard was born August 15, 1949 in Birch Run, Michigan.  He was employed by Saginaw Public Schools prior to his retirement.

Surviving are 3 children, Brian (Mary) Smith, David (Dorinda) Smith and Rachel (Gary) Smith Lybarger; 8 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

Memorial Service will be held on January 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Robin Glen Mobil Home Park Clubhouse, located off Hwy M-81 in Buena Vista Township.  Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
