Samson Ceja passed away May 10, 2017 at Covenant Healthcare following an extended illness at the age of 65 years.  Mr. Ceja was born November 4, 1951 in Saginaw and was a graduate of St. Joseph High School. He served 2 years with the U. S. Army and following his discharge he was employed by General Motors for several years prior to his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Limon Ceja; his children, Venus Ceja, Crystal (Joe) Amaro, and Tony Limon; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grand children; siblings, Delilah (Michael) Barajas, Delia (Joe) Hernandez, and Frank (Darlene) Mendoza; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Deana Barajas; aunts, uncles and friends; special uncle, Henry ( Irene) Alva; and close friend, Gilberto Huerta.

He was preceded in death by 1 grandchild.

Funeral service will take place 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Cederberg & Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. with Pastor Don Dinninger officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
