Valerie C. Underwood, age 51 of Saginaw, Michigan passed away May 15, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical center.  The former Valerie C. Mayer was born March 9, 1966 in Saginaw.  After graduating from college Valerie was employed by St. Mary’s Medical Center for close to 30 years at the time of her death.  She enjoyed playing the game called “Second Life”.

She is survived by her daughter, Madison Underwood; her mother, Barbara Mayer; a sister, Michelle (Brian) Easterling; and a niece Lindsay May Easterling.

Honoring Valerie’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  No Memorial Service is planned.
