Adeliado "Lalo" Lopez Garza

Adeliado L. Garza peacefully transmitted into eternal rest on June 1, 2020 at the age of 73.  Lalo was born December 19, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas to Jesus and Jesusa Garza.  Adeliado was united in holy matrimony to Elsa Rita Rodriguez on May 29, 1971.  She survives him.  To this union six children were born.  He gave his life to Jesus Christ at an early age.  Adeliado loved spreading the word of God.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with his grandkids and family. His presence is truly missed.

Lalo leaves to celebrate his legacy his beloved and dedicated wife of 49 years, Elsa Rita Garza; four sons, Jesus Garza, Adeliado (Sandra) Garza Jr., Raul (Amanda) Garza, and Joshua Garza; two daughters, Herlinda (David) Sherbino and Rebecca (Bruce) Westley of Saginaw, Michigan; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Evangelina (Concepcion) Villarreal and Adelina (Mario) Blanco both from San Antonio, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Adeliado was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Jesusa Garza; 2 brothers, Ernesto Garza, and Francisco Garza; and a sister, Selestina Garza.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home and staff; and everyone that attended.

Services will take place 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw with Pastor Maria Garcia of Kings of Kings Church and Pastor Kim of Assembly of God Church officiating.  Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. Thursday until time of service at 4:00 p.m.
