Alvin Cook passed away January 10, 2017 at Medi Lodge in Frankenmuth at the age of 58 years.  Son of the former James and Ceola (Hamilton) Cook, Alvin was born August 11, 1958 in Saginaw and was a graduate of Saginaw High School.  He was employed by Saginaw Public Schools prior to his retirement.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Ebony Humphrey and Jewel Blackman; 4 sisters, Nanette Hamilton, Vickie Cook, Loretta Riggens and Cynthia Penneywell; 4 brothers, John, Jerry, Jeffery, and Theodis Cook; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will take place at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home of Saginaw with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.  Date and time of service to be announced later.
