Angela M. DeShone, age 98 of Saginaw passed away August 7, 2023, at Edgewood Assisted Living Center in Saginaw. Daughter of the late Clarence and Martha Beelman, Angela was born May 9, 1925, in Saginaw. She was a 1943 graduate of St. Andrew’s High School. She married Francis J. DeShone on June 26, 1946, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church and he preceded her in death September 11, 2005. Angela was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Angela enjoyed crocheting, knitting, ceramics and gardening in her earlier years.

Surviving are 5 children, Michelle DeShone, Becky (Ehren Snyder) DeShone, Jane DeShone, Kim (Bill) O’Brien, and Greg (Mary) DeShone, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, with 1 more on the way. She is also survived by 2 daughters-in-law Becky Sue Kubika of Coldwater, MI, and Dawn Hauffe.

Angela was preceded in death by 4 children, David, Randy, Nanette, and Ricky DeShone, and by her 3 siblings, James, Robert, and Patricia.

The family would like to thank the staff at Edgewood Assisted Living for the care they provided for their mother, Angela loved them all.

Private Memorial Service took place at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave in Saginaw with Rev. Fr. Patrick C. O’Connor officiating. Interment was at St. Andrew’s Cemetery in Saginaw.
