Angelina Vela, age 74 of Saginaw passed away January 31, 2023, at Covenant Medical Center from injuries suffered in an auto accident a week earlier. Daughter of the late Ruben and Maria Marry, Angelina was born December 31, 1948, in Texas. She married Roberto Vela Jr. on November 12, 1962 in Plainview, Texas, and they moved to Saginaw in 1965. Mrs. Vela was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Roberto Vela Jr., her 5 children, Roberto Vela III, Thelma Vela, Angelia Vela, Arthur Vela, and Albert (Clara) Vela, 23 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Juan Marry and Ruben Marry, and 3 sisters, Sylvia Jaramillo, Nancy Cantu, and Tina Bosquez.

Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday February 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave Saginaw, with committal following at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
