Passed away December 18, 2016 at Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. Age 98 years. The former Annabelle L. Bach was born April 10, 1918 in Detroit.  She was a graduate of Wayne State University and was one of the W.A.V.E.S. serving with the U. S. Navy during World War II.

She married Chester Sitko on October 23, 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1995.  Mrs. Sitko was employed as a teacher with the Detroit Public Schools prior to her retirement.  She moved to Millington, and later to Frankenmuth prior to living at Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.

She had been a member of the Presbyterian Church in Detroit and the Vassar Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Swartz of Saginaw; a granddaughter, Sherry (Dean) Morgan of Saginaw; and 2 great grandchildren, Sage and Sean Morgan.

A graveside service at Millington Cemetery will take place at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home of Saginaw
