Aurelio “Larry” Delgado

Aurelio “Larry” Delgado, age 88 of Saginaw passed away January 7, 2024, after a brief illness. Son of the late Gonzalo and Ignacia Delgado, Larry was born September 25, 1935, in San Antonio, Texas and moved to Saginaw with his parents in the late 1940’s.
He married Rebecca Buitron on August 22, 1955, in Saginaw and she preceded him in death on April 24, 2010. Larry was employed by General Motors at the Malleable Iron Plant as a parts inspector for 26 years prior to his retirement.
He enjoyed fishing, traveling, camping, and meeting people.
Surviving are his children, Consuelo Delgado, Anna Ortiz, Yolanda Munoz, Cynthia Delgado-Ramirez, Elizabeth (David Lopez) Guijosa, Gonzalo (Echo) Delgado, Aurelio (Rachel) Delgado Jr., and Raymundo Delgado, 32 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, 1 brother, Rudy (Antonia) Delgado, 2 sisters-in-law, Ofralinda (Frank) Pena, and Neomi (Armando) Delgado..
He was preceded in death by 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 13th at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw with interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Service. There will be a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
