Azavien J. Claudio, age 22 of Saginaw passed away October 3, 2021, in Saginaw.  Azavien was born July 23, 1999, in Bay City.  He was employed in the laundry service business in Saginaw. He was engaged to Florentina M. Sandoval of Saginaw.

Surviving is his fiancé, Florentina Sandoval; 2 children, Blessed Linda Claudio, and Azavien Jay Claudio Jr.; his father and mother, Jose (Angie) Claudio and Leticia Hitz; his brothers, Alize, Josean, Aries, and Na’Zarius Claudio; his sisters Kayla Hitz, Trinity, Emily, Arehlia, JaSiriah, NaZadia Claudio; grandparents, Alicia Vega, Karen, and David Hitz, nieces and nephews and close family friends, Linda and Michael Sandoval Sr., Michael Sandoval Jr., and Frank Rodriguez.

Azavien was a devoted father and loved spending every moment with his children. He liked to cook and being around friends and family. He loved telling jokes and making people laugh. He will be truly missed.

Funeral service will take place 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave, in Saginaw. Pastor Bil Bodnar will officiate, interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
