Cecelia K. Kalkman, age 89 of Saginaw passed away August 14, 2022, at home. The daughter of the late William and Iola (Sheldon) Bohman, Cecelia was born July 20, 1933, in Saginaw Township, Michigan. She had been employed by Home Dairy in Saginaw, and as a cashier at  area Drug, Grocery and Dime Stores in Lansing, Michigan.

Cecelia lived the past 25 years at South Colony on Gratiot Road in Saginaw. She enjoyed playing Bingo and going out to eat with her children.

Surviving are 3 children, David Kalkman of Birch Run, Mary Jo (Dale) Glaser of Birch Run, and Debra (Gary) Swan of Cadillac; a daughter-in-law Julia Kalkman of Texas; and son-in-law Ed Hastings of Lansing; 15 grandchildren, Ed, Andrea & Luke, Angie and Gina, Mark & Laura, David, Jamie, John, Shelly, Aaron and Mary Kaye, and Will & Jason; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Hastings, her sons, Charles, William, and Dennis, a daughter-in-law Valorie Kalkman, and by a brother, William Bohman.

A Private Memorial Service will take place at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home in Saginaw, Michigan.
