Charles H. Mader, age 77 of Birch Run passed away August 30, 2024, at Covenant Hospital following an extended illness. Son of the late John and Marjorie (Turner) Mader, Charles was born November 10, 1946, in Saginaw and grew up in the Burt, Michigan area. He was a graduate of Chesaning High School. Charles was married to the former Robin Collins, and she preceded him in death in 2021. Charlie was employed as a truck driver prior to his retirement. He was of the Catholic faith and was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Saginaw. He enjoyed bowling and playing golf.

Surviving are a stepdaughter, Samantha York, and 1 brother, Lawrence (Sandra) Mader of Burt, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Cecelia Hughes, Marylou Creller, and Paula Clements.

Plans for a Memorial Service are incomplete currently. Interment will take place at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
