Cynthia Kay Ostrander, age 63 of Saginaw died unexpectedly Sunday May 28, 2023, at home. The daughter of the late Franklin and Olivia Thompson, Cynthia was born January 24, 1960, in Seattle, Washington. She moved to Saginaw in 1974. Cynthia was married to Paul E. Ostrander on January 22, 1979, in Saginaw and he preceded her in death on July 16, 2020. She was employed at Kroger’s for several years and retired in 2007. Cynthia loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, being around her family and holding babies. She liked playing Bingo.

Surviving are 3 children, Franklin (Holly) Ostrander, Alan (Missy) Ostrander, and Shawntea (Daniel) Perez, 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Gloria Collier, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded I death by a sister, Norma Estasio.

Memorial Service will take place 1:00 p.m. Saturday June 10th 2023, at Cederberg Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw with Pastor Bill Bodnar officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
