Debra Jo Swift of Bay City passed away December 22, 2020 at McLaren Bay Medical after an extended illness.  Debra was born in Saginaw on March 2, 1953 to John Yancer and Lillian Emeott .  She was married to James R. Swift on September 11, 1972 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Saginaw, and James survives her. She is also survived by her six children; Jeremy (April) Swift, Jason Swift, Jenny Swift, Joshua Swift, James John Swift, Robert (Chad) Swift; also surviving are her 11 grandchildren.

Debra loved playing bingo, collecting dolls, snow globes, venturing to garage sales and rummage sales, and visiting the casino. She loved being with family, especially her grandchildren.

Memorial Service will take place at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home of Saginaw on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Bodnar officiating. Friends may gather with the family on Wednesday at the funeral home from 2:00 until time of service. Cremation has taken place per Debra’s wishes.
