Dolores B. Vargas, age 62 of Saginaw passed away December 14, 2021, at Covenant Healthcare Cooper after a brief illness.  Daughter of the late Macario and Teodola (Zamora) Vargas, Dolores was born August 1, 1959, in Saginaw.  She was a 1977 graduate of Buena Vista High School and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.

Surviving is her sons Angel, and Javier Vargas; the love of her life, her granddaughter Anyah Vargas; her sisters, Anna, Alicia, and Rosanna Vargas, all of Saginaw; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and her church family of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, whom she was so fond of.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert, and Miguel Vargas.

Dolores enjoyed listening to Tejano Music and reading.  She was a great cook and baker.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her beloved granddaughter who was her world.

Funeral Service will take place 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 20th at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N Michigan Ave. in Saginaw.  Pastor Bill Bodnar will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 1:30 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m.
