Doris S. Periard-Kluck

Doris Periard-Kluck of Saginaw passed away peacefully on Thursday November 19, 2020 at Hoyt Nursing Home at the age of 92 years. Doris was born on February 19, 1928 along with her twin brother Daniel, in Burt Michigan to William and Meta (Catterfeld) Periard.
She had been employed at the Saginaw County Mental Health Agency doing clerical work for 25 years, and along with that position she worked at Stardust Lanes for 40 years as a bartender prior to her retirement in both positions. Doris was a member of the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed traveling all over the world, she was a very avid scrabble player, playing in many tournaments. She enjoyed bridge and was in many bridge clubs. Doris also enjoyed walking up to 5 miles daily. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Doris enjoyed her daily wine happy hours.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan Kluck of Florida, Charlene Kluck of Saginaw, her daughter-in-law Juanita Kluck; her twin brother, Daniel (Patricia) Periard, her sister Jean Gase; grandchildren, Warren (Carolyn) Kluck, Kevin (Brishia) Kluck, Gary (Ellen) Kluck, Karla (Lee) Clokiewicz, Rebecca (Casey) Dvorak, Kristina (Naaman) Lefills, Jerome (Caitlyn) Kluck, and Bernard Kluck; great-grandchildren, Leonard, Nora, Quinn, Cameran, Kenley, and 2 babies on the way; She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and very good friends.
She was predeceased by her son Randall Kluck, and daughter Janice Kluck; her 3 brothers, Arthur, Harold, and William Periard, and a sister Marion who died in childhood.
The family would like to thank Hoyt Nursing Home and Rehabilitation for several years of wonderful care that she was given.
Per Doris wishes cremation as taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home and will be announced via our website and TV-5
