Edna Perez, age 57 of Saginaw passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at home after a 14-year battle with brain cancer. She was born May 25, 1964, in Corpus Christi, Texas and has lived in Saginaw for 34 years. She was employed as a store manager at Walgreen Drugs prior to her retirement.

Surviving are her six children, Connie (Ramon) Malmsten, Amanda (Shane) McManus, Rene Jr. (Tahira) Rivera, Joshua (Vanessa) Perez, Victoria (Isaac) Blumenfeld, and Natalya Perez; 16 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her father, Elias Perez; 5 brothers and 1 sister, Elias Jr., Enrique, Andres, David, and Albert Perez, Diana Balboa.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Angelita Perez; 2 grandsons, John “Papi” Gomez, and Jayceon Perez.

Friends may visit with the family at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw on Monday, August 23, 2021, from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. They will recite the rosary 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.  Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Frank Voris officiating.  Cremation will take place after visitation.
