Edward M. Beamon, age 58 of Saginaw passed away unexpectedly January 8, 2021 at home.  Son of the late Edward and Anne (Smith) Beamon, Edward was born February 28, 1962 in Saginaw. He was a 1980 graduate of Arthur Hill High School.  He then served over two years with the U.S. Army.  He married the former Tajah Turner in Chicago in 1996.  Edward was employed at Aleda Lutz V.A. Hospital at the time of his death.  He loved to read, listen to music, watch TV crime shows and doing things with his family.

Surviving is his wife, Tajah; his 6 children, Ikca Beamon, Keyatta Beamon, Sharrieff Beamon, Pharouqe Beamon, Hakima Beamon, and Hyarah Beamon; 10 siblings, Toussaint Beamon, Ali Beamon, Marcus Beamon, Manaskar Beamon, Pat Beamon, Malcolm Beamon, Joyce Beamon, Arnie Beamon, Clara Beamon, and Lumumba Beamon; and many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by 2 siblings, Salima and Richard Beamon.

Friends may visit with the family at Cederberg & Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw on Sunday January 24th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Interment service will be 2:30 p.m. on January 29, 2021 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.  Full military honors will be accorded by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.

We will adhere to protocol, face mask, and safe distancing due to Covid-19.
