Elizabeth Phillips, age 37 of Saginaw passed away Sunday August 20, 2023. The daughter of the late Donald and Suzan (Kennedy) Phillips, Elizabeth was born March 3, 1986, in Saginaw. She was employed at Horizons Conference Center and prior to that she worked at The Old Country Buffet in Saginaw.
She enjoyed cooking for her family, hiking wilderness trails, and going for walks with her kids and their dog on Ojibway Island.
She is survived by her 2 children, Izabella Thon, and Jaxon Thon, 2 siblings, Ryan (Ann) Phillips of Ohio and Laura (Carlos) Phillips of Saginaw, 5 nieces and nephews, Jenna Colpean, Hylah Phillips, Ryan Phillips Jr., Alandra Zaragoza, and Sophia Zaragoza, her stepmom, Nancy Phillips, and many aunts, uncles and cousins that also loved her.
A Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday September 9, 2023, at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw with Rev. Charles Campbell officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9th until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
