Elizabeth Ann Eckerd, age 75 of Saginaw, passed away August 29, 2026, at home. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Swiencicki. Elizabeth was born on November 10, 1950, in Bay City, Michigan. She was a 1969 graduate of Bay City Central High School.

Elizabeth was employed by Bell Telephone Company in Saginaw and retired from Ameritech after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Catholic Faith. Elizabeth enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking, walking and bike riding.

She is survived by 1 son Jason Eckerd of Auburn, Michigan, 2 grandsons, Andrew Belger and Noah Eckerd, and a brother Mike and a sister Margie.

She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and sisters.

A Memorial Service Mass will take place on Friday September 4, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. St. John Vianney Parish, 6400 McCarty Rd. Saginaw  with Fr. Suman Kondaveeti officiating. Friends can visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
