Ester E. Elizalde, age 74 of Saginaw passed away July 4, 2023, after a brief illness. Daughter of the late Miguel and Ana Maria (Esquivel) Ramirez, Ester was born February 6, 1949, in Celaya GTO, Mexico. She moved to Saginaw in 2003 from Mexico and was married to Peter H. Elizalde and he preceded her in death in 2012. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. Ester enjoyed growing flowers, crocheting, and cooking.

She is survived by 3 children, Jorge Medina Ramirez of Mexico, Luis R. Medina-Ramirez of Saginaw, and Carlos Alberto Medina Ramirez of Mexico, 5 grandchildren, and 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Saginaw with Rev. Fr. Frank Voris officiating. Interment will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home 403 N. Michigan Ave. on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. A Prayer Service will take place on Monday at the Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m.
