Floyd Ray Kraenzlein, age 72 of Saginaw passed away September 20, 2023, at home in Houghton Lake Michigan.  The son of the late  Floyd R.and Merwinna Marie (Howey) Kraenzlein, he was born March 15, 1951, in Saginaw. Floyd moved to Houghton Lake in 1985. He married Melody Girardin in 1995, she preceded him on August 12, 2018. He had been employed by General Motors at the Steering Gear plant prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Eagles Club in Houghton Lake. He loved playing pool.

He is survived by his 5 children Floyd K (Rita) Kraenzlein Jr, Collette Kraenzlein, Tina Kraenzlein, Jason (Candy) Girardin, Timothy (Brandy) Kraenzlein, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his 2 sisters.

A Celebration of Life will take place at The Moose Lodge on M-55 in Houghton Lake, MI at a later date.
