Frederick G. Wieland Jr of Saginaw passed away December 31, 2016 at the age of 61 years.  He was born in Saginaw on September 11, 1955 to the late Frederick Wieland Sr. and Lucille Wieland who survives him. He attended Arthur Hill high School, and Delta College graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1976 to 1980.  He had been employed with Delphi Corporation prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Birch Run, and was an avid reader.

He is survived by his 3 sons, David (Jamie) Wieland, Joshua Wieland, and Joel Wieland; his mother, Lucille Wieland; his significant other, Dawn Schluckebier; 3 grandchildren, Christian, Annabelle, David Wieland II; 1 brother, David H. (Mary) Wieland; and 1 sister, Joann (Dan) Squires.

He was preceded in death by his father Frederick G. Wieland, Sr.

Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. Saginaw with Pastor James Chinery officiating.  Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M and on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Full Military Honors will be accorded by the U.S. Army National Guard. Interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family.
