Heather V. Helm

Heather V. Helm, age 48 of Carrollton Township passed away April 9, 2020 at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw.  Heather V. Barber was born April 7, 1972 in Flint, Michigan.  She married Randell Helm on June 27, 2009 in Coleman, Michigan.  She was associated with Community Christian Reformed Church and helping with their Caring Closet program.  Heather enjoyed spending time with family and friends and absolutely adored her two grandchildren.  She also liked riding a Harley with her husband, traveling up north, reading, going for rides on the pontoon and attending rummage sales.

Surviving are her husband, Randell; her daughter, Jessica (Matt) Schramm; 2 grandchildren, Nyomi and Nate Schramm; stepson, Steve Helm; her mother, Marcia Miller; a brother, Chad (Angie) Barber; and Jessica’s father, Fred Proctor.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald E. Barber,

Funeral Service and Interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens will be private. Pastor Nathan Gritter will officiate.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. Saginaw. Due to COVID-19 Virus visitation will be restricted to no more then 10 people in the Chapel at one time.

A public Memorial Service for family and friends of Heather will take place at a later date and will be announced.
