Ida Rocha
Saginaw, Michigan
Ida Rocha, age 89 of Saginaw passed away September 19, 2022, at Covenant Healthcare. Daughter of the late Octaviano and Socorro Arroyo, Ida was born July 4, 1933, in Saginaw. She married Frank A. Rocha Jr. on March 8, 1986, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saginaw. In her earlier years, Ida taught Nutrition at Michigan State University and also helped others in the Lansing area for many years. Ida was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Damas De Guadalupe Group. She was also a member of the G I Forum and helped with Bingo at the American Legion Post 439.
Surviving is her husband, Frank; 3 children, Carmen, Amelia, and Harvey Delgado; 8 grandchildren, David and Cayla Hall, Marc, and Charlotte Delgado; Robert James Delgado; and CC, David, and Peter Delgado; many great grandchildren; and 1 brother, Treno Castanon and stepsister Pauline.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Delgado, 4 siblings, Nancy, Joe, Richard, and Arthur: and 1 stepsister, Josephine.
Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Frank Voris officiating. Interment will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at Cederberg Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
