James C. Baillie
Saginaw, Michigan
James was born October 21, 1943, in Revere, Massachusetts to Hugh and Ruth Baillie. He was brother to David Baillie, Nancy Baillie Imbracsio, Ruth Baillie Bridges, and the late Jane Baillie Girodano, Hugh Baillie, Douglas Baillie, and Ronald Baillie
He graduated from Revere High School and soon thereafter married his wife, Michele. While their marriage wouldn’t last forever as they hoped, they remained close until the day she departed. As a team they raised two children, James and Douglas.
Years later James would meet his next love, Diana Loudenslager, whose relationship lasted almost 40 years until Diana’s passing in 2021. Diana had five children from a previous marriage: Ronald, Wendy, Cynthia, Tina, and the late Richard. James loved them as if they were his own.
James was a decorated Veteran having served with the U. S. Army in Vietnam, where he received five Bronze Stars and two Purple Heart Medals. After an Honorable Discharge from the Army, he enjoyed a career in the HVAC industry, having last worked for United Refrigeration, Inc. in Raleigh NC. He enjoyed traveling and working in his yard in retirement.
James is survived by his children, James (Gena) Baillie, Douglas Baillie and grandchildren James, Benjamin, Zachary, as well as the children and grandchildren from his additional family with Diana.
