Jean S. Catterfeld, age 91 of Saginaw passed away July 21, 2020 at Comfort Care Assisted Living in Chesaning.  The daughter of the late Eldrew and Beatrice (Jacques) Pugh, Jean was born June 15, 1929 in Saginaw and was a graduate of Saginaw High School.  She married Robert Catterfeld July 2, 1948 in Saginaw, he preceded her in death 2007. Jean and her husband owned the Warwick Lounge in Saginaw for several years prior to retirement.

Jean was a former member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Saginaw.  She enjoyed cooking, especially wild game dinners from her husband’s hunting trips. She also taught others how to can fruits and vegetables.

Surviving are 4 children, Randy (Barry) Catterfeld, Tom (Theresa) Catterfeld, Gerald Catterfeld, and Tammy (Greg) May; 9 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and 1 son-in-law, Eddie Brown.

Jean was preceded in death by a daughter Connie Brown, her twin sister, June and her brother, Jack Pugh.

Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Cederberg & Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw with Pastor Jim Chinery officiating.  Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
