Joseph Michael Hajduk, age 44 of Saginaw died unexpectedly on Sunday April 23, 2023, at home. Joe was born March 9, 1979, in Charleston, South Carolina. His family moved to Michigan in 1989 and he graduated from Corunna High School in 1997. He moved to Saginaw in 1999 and was employed at Shooter’s Bar and later was hired as Kitchen Manager at Baywood Lounge and held that position for several years.
Joe enjoyed playing golf, cards, and poker tournaments. He likes watching sporting events on TV, especially University of Michigan football, and Detroit Tigers, Lions, Red Wings and Pistons games. Another pastime was watching his nephews play sports.
Joe is survived by his father, Michael (Linda) Hajduk of Saginaw, his mother Connie Elizabeth Oliver of Florida, 5 siblings, Karen (Jeff) Reiber, Heather (Doug) Fritzler, Natalie Rau, Andrea (David) Hutchison, Jared (Melanie) Sanders, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Peace Lutheran Church, 3427 Adams Street in Saginaw on Saturday April 29, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Matthew Hauser officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, there will be a luncheon served in the parlor of the church from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to one of his nephews school clubs for his love of sports and his love of his nieces and nephews to one of the following;
