Judith A. Lorenz, age 80 of Saginaw passed away November 5, 2021, at St. Francis Home in Saginaw.

Daughter of the late Doyle and Ila (Pat) (Purdum) Potter, Judith was born November 20, 1940, in Iowa. Her father preceded her in death in 1948. Her mother later married Robert Scott and together they raised Judith. She was married to Gerald Lorenz, and he preceded her in death.

Judith enjoyed sewing, crocheting, baking, playing Bindo and cards, and picking blueberries, fishing, and hunting with her stepfather. She was a member of Countryside Trinity Church in Saginaw.

She is survived by 4 sons, Mr. & Mrs. William Lorenz, Robert Lorenz, James (Jerry Glover) Lorenz, and Victor (Amy) Lorenz; 1 stepdaughter, Jody Johnson; 2 daughters-in-law, Rena Lorenz, and Carrie Lorenz; a cousin, Terry Scott; and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Scott Lorenz; and 2 stepchildren, Joey Lorenz, and Gerald Lorenz Jr.

Funeral Service will take place 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 9th at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw. Rev. Dr. Jane Lynn Young will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
