Kathy Marquez-Krueger, age 55 of Saginaw passed away May 6, 2022, at home after an extended illness.  Kathy Marie Marquez was born February 9, 1967, in Saginaw and was a graduate of Carrollton High School. Kathy later served with the U.S. Army and received an Honorable Discharge.  She married Gary L. Krueger on October 16, 2020, in Saginaw. Kathy was employed at Nexteer for the past 9 years.

Kathy was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed flower gardening, fashion, going on motorcycle rides, and watching sports, especially U of M football and basketball, and Detroit Tigers baseball.

Surviving is her husband, Gary; her daughter, Elizabeth Anne Marquez; her mother Joann Marquez; 2 brothers, Jim (Crystal) Marquez and Frank (Cheryl) Marquez Jr.; 3 stepchildren, Joshua Krueger, Brittney St. Germain, and Alec Krueger; a nephew, Tyler (Sarah) Marquez; and her fur babies, Maggie, and Harley.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank J. Marquez Sr. on May 19, 2020

Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw.  Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Saginaw.  Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
