Kennisa M. Baase, age 35 of Saginaw passed away suddenly on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Covenant Healthcare. Kennisa Marie Baase was born February 11, 1987, in Saginaw, Michigan. She was employed in the Home Health Care Business at the time of her death.

Surviving are parents, Luella Baase, and Tommy Brown Sr.; stepfather of 35 years, James Luter Sr.; Godfather, Raymond Torrez; her siblings, James (Vonta) Luter Jr., Jalisa Luter, And Deontae Lee; nieces and nephews, Ja’Mion, Jay’Vontae, Jay’Mire, Jay’Vyn, and Jay’Cee Luter, Marciano Baase and Promise Galvin; aunts and uncles, Bud (Laura) Baase, Robert (Rachel) Baase Sr., Ronnie, and Shavonya Brodnex, last but not least her “other mothers” Ann Baase and Kelly Carter; a host of cousins, Raymond Baase, Joshua Olszewski, Zachariah Flores Sr., Ashley (Basilio) Flores, Robert Baase Jr., Jessica Baase, Darius Adkins, Roy Adkins III, Devro Adkins Jr., Nico Rios, Latoya Draine, Mahisha Carter, Jaquetta Rutledge, Alondro McCall, and many more; special friends, Monte Morris, Breyuanna, and Sh’Tyrus Lee, Artisher Lawson, Rodney Clayton Jr., Curtis Jones, Michael Moore Sr., Diamond Nash, Cristina Ortiz, Imari Zamora, and Jamie Braxton; God-siblings, Kati Klich, Raymond Torrez III and Coty Torrez..

She was preceded in death by her own baby, Morris; niece, A’Marie Luter; grandparents, Robert & Mary Baase, grandfather, Ronnie Adkins, and special cousin Damon Adkins.

Visitation and Funeral service will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Made in His Image Ministry Church located at 623 Webber Street in Saginaw Mi. 48601.  Pastor Herbert Morris Jr. will officiate.
