Larry Averill passed away November 7, 2016 at Magnum Care of Saginaw at the age of 66 years.

The son of the late Ernest and Evelyn (Yax) Averill, Larry was born June 1, 1950 in Saginaw.

He was employed by Bushey Painting Company prior to his retirement.  Larry enjoyed fishing, cooking and boxing.

He is survived by 4 children, Lisa Averill, Larry Averill Jr., Joe Averill and Lori Averill; 3 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Ernest “Spike” Averill, Charles Averill and Robert Averill; and 2 sisters, Dorothy Jacklin and Evelyn Riska.

He was preceded in death by 2 children, Vince and April Averill; 2 brothers, Vern and Denny Averill; and 1 his sister, Carol Averill.

Memorial Service will take place 1:00 p.m. Friday at Ames United Methodist Church.  Friends may visit at the church from 12:00 noon Friday until time of service.  Arrangements entrusted to Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home of Saginaw. (989) 755-2121
