Larry Cliff Obituary

Larry Allan Cliff went home to be the Lord unexpectantly on April 16, 2020 at the age of 72. Larry was born September 6, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Kenneth and Mildred (Mertz) Cliff. He was a graduate of Bridgeport High School class of 1965. He attended Ferris State University where he pursued architecture. Larry honorably served in the Untied States Airforce during the Vietnam War. Larry married the love of his life Carol Brenay on September 27, 1969. They shared over 50 years together. Larry was a brilliant businessman. He owned and operated several businesses throughout his career including Midstate Discount & Westworld Video productions and Software Video World. His favorite and claim to fame was directing and producing over 90 television episodes for his Pass Sports Network Program “Sports Nutz Sports Show” highlighting inclusion in the out of doors. Here he met many great friends.

Larry was an avid sportsman and a skilled marksman. Larry enjoyed the outdoors by hunting, fishing, and four wheeling. Larry had a passion for vinyl records, photography, and music. You would often catch him whistling or singing off key. He had an infectious smile and a contagious laugh. He could be found making light of any situation through his humor. He was the life of the party and a friend to all. Larry had incredible strength and determination and took life by the reigns letting nothing hold him back from chasing his passions. He was a marvelous cook and enjoyed trips to the casino and most importantly spending time with his family as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He acquired a love for soap operas during his retirement. Larry cherished his daily talks with his brother in law, Dennis (Linda) Brenay.

Surviving besides his wife, Carol; Larry leaves behind his daughters, Lisa (Ryan) Bauer and Christie (Christopher) Jacques. His grandchildren, Zackery, Emily, & Cathryn; and other family members and two very special fur babies, Dewey, and Stella.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Marlene Burns and his brother, Leonard Cliff, and Larry's father and mother-in-law Elmer & Betty Brenay;

A Celebration of Larry’s Life will take place at a future date.
