Lupe Luera, age 73 of Saginaw, passed away July 31, 2026, at MyMichigan Health Hospital in Saginaw. Daughter of the late Jesus and Felipa Flores, Lupe was born March 19, 1953, In Jackson, Mississippi. She married Ernesto Luera on November 25, 1972, in Florida. They moved to Saginaw in 1989 from Wauchula, Florida. Lupe enjoyed traveling, dancing, and playing Bingo. She was a member of Iglesia Pentecostal La Esperanza Church for 20 plus years.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ernesto, 7 children, Carlota Luera, Hope (Juan) Martinez, Ernest (Laura) Luera Jr., Maria (Raymond) Yrlas, Frank Luera, Gloria Luera, and Ray (Angel) Luera, 22 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 2 special grandchildren, Chyna and Chuckie, 3 brothers, Robert, Richard, and Joe Flores, and 2 sisters, Juanita and Patricia Flores.

She was preceded by 6 siblings, Juan, Helena, Irene, Maggie, Aurora, and Chuche.

Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home of Saginaw, 403 N. Michigan Ave. with Felipe and Tina Ortega and

Mario Montemayor officiating. Interment will be at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Monday August 10, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
