Margarita S. Flores, age 68 of Saginaw passed away Friday, May 20, 2022, at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor.  Daughter of the late Raphael and Josephine Gonzales, Margarita was born June 24, 1953, in Saginaw and was a graduate of Saginaw High School. She married David Flores on January 2, 1970, at St. Marys Cathedral in Saginaw.

She was employed by Fremont Day Care for many years prior to her retirement in 2021. She enjoyed cooking, crafts and being around grandchildren and family.

Margarita is survived by her husband, David; 3 children, Angela (John) Werner, Ann (Ramiro) Facundo, and David (Shannon) Flores Jr.; Grandchildren, Anastassia, Michael, Christiana, Maria, Melanie, Makayla, David Flores III, Nicholas, Heather, Danielle, Vanessa, Cory, and Meiah; great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Lucas Jr., John, Melea, Landon, Logan Rayana, Jaxx, Ava, Lilliana, Emma, Sophia and Jack; sisters, Edubina Dean, Amalia (Lyle) Duckwall, and a brother, Raphael Gonzales Jr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Victoria Aguilar, Ana Maria Wilhelm, Helen Addison, Jose Gonzales, and a nephew, Willie Lee Addison.

Funeral Service will take place 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday May 25, 2022, at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home 403 N. Michigan Ave in Saginaw with Pastor Bill Bodnar Officiating.  Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 P.M. until time of service.
