Marissa Ann Cavazos

Marissa Ann Cavazos, age 45 of Saginaw died May 12, 2020 at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw.  Marissa was born July 17, 1974 in Saginaw.  She enjoyed having company over and spending time with family.  She loved her children, especially her baby boys.  Marissa lived with a big heart and shared a little bit with everyone she knew.

Surviving are her mother, Vivian Johnson; her father Reynaldo Cavazos; her daughter and 2 sons, Martel Carter, Marcel Carter, and Miguel Carter; 2 sisters and 2 brothers, Monica (Matthew) Mulvaney, Priscilla Diaz, Daniel Bargas and Vincent (Cynthia) Bargas; 1 granddaughter, MaiJaiYa (Marcella) Crosby; the father of her children, Tony Carter; special friend, Mark Burnell; special cousins, Joey (Vanessa) Vasquez, Jesse (Angelica) Vasquez, Jeremy Vasquez, and Julie Vasquez; very special aunt, Mary Perez; and special godmother, Teresa Gomez.

She was preceded in death by grandmother, Josephine Cavazos; grandparents, Jose and Beatrice Rivera; Uncle Mike Cavazos; 2 favorite aunts, Virginia Rivera and Josephine “BB” Camper; and special favorite cousin, Evette Vasquez.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. Saginaw.  There will be a limit of no more than 10 people in the chapel at a time.  Memorials to Carter & Miguel mailed to 1718 Hancock Street, Saginaw, MI 48602
