Mary Lou Creller, age 70 of Blumfield Township passed away September 26, 2023, at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital. Daughter of the late Jonathan and Marjorie Mader, Mary Lou was born September 23, 1953, in Saginaw. She was a graduate of Chesaning High School and then attended the Delta College School of Nursing where she graduated as a Registered Nurse. She married William A. Creller II on October 4, 1975, in Saginaw and he preceded her in death on November 6, 2019.

Mrs. Creller was employed as a psychiatric nurse at The Caro Center for over 20 years until her retirement in 2001. She was of the Catholic Faith and enjoyed cooking, sewing, bowling, listening to music and a trip to the Casino.

Surviving are 3 children, Lester (Linda) Creller, William (Carole) Creller III, and Dr. Aaron Creller and his wife Dr. Sarah Mattice, 3 grandchildren, Jeff, Eve Marie, and William Creller IV, and 2 brothers, Lawrence (Sandy) Mader and Charles Mader.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Cecelia Hughes, and Paula Clements.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 14,2023, at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave in Saginaw. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral Home on Saturday, October 14th from 12:00 noon until time of service at 4:00 p.m. Private interment will be at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
