Melissa Marie Botello, age 31 of Saginaw passed away Sunday, November 14th from injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Saginaw Township. Melissa was born May 4, 1990, in Saginaw and was a graduate of Carrollton High School. She was employed in the communications department for Outdoor Adventures as an Executive Phone Representative. Melissa’s son, who she called “Lil Man” meant everything to her. She enjoyed traveling and had a big heart and was very helpful to anyone who needed help.

She is survived by her son Santino Mariano Rodriguez; her parents, Joe D. (Amber Sahr) Botello Jr. and Dawn Provencher-Carmona; siblings David (Terri) Botello, Kristie (Derick) Gallop, Joe (Andrea) Botello III, “Drea” Dawn Botello, Jonathan (Hannah) Chauvette, Erica Teneyuque, Bryanna Perkins, and Gia Botello; grandmother, Juanita Botello; many nieces and nephews.; aunts and uncles, Maria “Toni”  Huerta Jr., Betty Ruiz, Rachel (Tony) Botello, Alice (Gerald) Evans, Brenda Botello, Teresa Esparza, and Anthony (Faith) Carmona.

She was preceded in death by 3 siblings, Alejandro Botello, Angela Botello, and Filameno Escobar; grandmother, Ruth Hidalgo; and aunts and uncles, Stephanie Carmona, Ramon & Shannon Botello, Christopher Botello, Cesar Huerta Jr., and Robert Ruiz.

Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday November 24th at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave, in Saginaw. Deacon Librado Gayton, Director of Multicultural Ministry will officiate. Friends May visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
