Melissa A. Ortiz, age 43, of Saginaw passed away July 16, 2026, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Saginaw. Melissa was born August 9, 1982, and was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School.

Melissa had many hobbies and liked to attend camp at Camp Fishtail yearly.

She is survived by her mother, Anna Maria Ortiz, her 3 sisters, Raquelina Ortiz, Anna Belinda Ortiz, and Eva Ortiz, 2 nieces, and many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roberto Ortiz and grandparents, Larry and Rebecca Delgado.

Memorial visitation will take place at Cederberg Brietzke Funeral Home of Saginaw at a later date.
