Michaelene Ann Philpot, age 64 of Tawas City passed away August 25, 2020 at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw.

The daughter of the late Richard and Barbara Nick, Michaelene was born May 30, 1956 in Hamtramck, Michigan. After graduation from High School Michaelene attended Alpena Community College for two years. She married William G. Philpot and moved to Tawas City. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2007.

Michaelene was the owner of Mickie’s Lounge on the shores of Lake Huron in Tawas City for many years until ill health forced her retirement. Mickie did a lot of volunteer work in the Tawas area over the years.

She is survived by her son, Steven J. (Jessica) Lull of Tawas City.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
