Miguel A. Vargas, age 54 of Saginaw passed away April 27, 2019 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit following a brief illness. The son of the late Macario and Teodola (Zamora) Vargas, Miguel was born March 12, 1965 in Saginaw. He was a 1983 graduate of Buena Vista High School and later attended trade school learning automotive repair. He was employed as a mechanic for W.W. Williams Company for most of his adult life. He enjoyed fixing and working on cars, especially helping other people with their car problems. Miguel was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are 4 sisters, Dolores Vargas, Anna Vargas, Alicia Vargas, and Rosanna Vargas; very dear friend, Robert George; several nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Vargas.
Funeral Service will take place 1:00 p.m. Friday at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. in Saginaw. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
