Pamela Jacques Obituary

Pamela Jean Jacques, age 72 was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on May 6, 2020 following a valiant battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Pamela was born on May 18, 1947 to the late Arthur and Betty (Easton) Rose in Muskegon, Michigan. Pamela was a homebound member of Old Town Christian Outreach Center. She was a graduate of Carrollton High School, class of 1965. Pamela married the love of her life and best friend on June 18, 1966. He preceded her. Pamela enjoyed many years working beside her husband operating various motels. She later became a service operator for King Communications, here she made several lasting friendships.

Pamela collected owls, birdhouses, and songbirds. She especially loved cardinals. Throughout her years she enjoyed many trips to Mackinaw City, Tawas, and Traverse City. Pam spent her days reading, watching television shows. Some of her favorites being CSI, Law and Order and the Bachelor. She enjoyed games on her iPad and taking long naps. Pam was a true University of Michigan fan, and a Tigers fan. You would often catch her watching the games with enthusiasm, hollering out at the television set. Pamela enjoyed spending time with her family. One of her favorite memories was birdwatching and coffee on the porch with her husband Bob. She looked forward to and enjoyed time with her grandchildren and her cat Daisy.

Pamela was blessed with a loving family she leaves behind to mourn her loss her son; Christopher (Christie) Jacques; her grandchildren, Matthew and Cathryn; her sister Marcia Rose; her brother Gerritt (Diane) Rose; several nieces and nephews as well as many other family and friends.

Pamela was preceded by her husband Robert M. Jacques, daughter Denise E. Jacques, her parents
Arthur and Betty Rose and her in-laws Martin “Buster” (Matilda) Jacques.

A Memorial will be determined for a later date due to the Covid-19 Virus. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to donate to assist with burial expenses in lieu of flowers, c/o Christopher Jacques 2551 Ivy Hill Lane #B, Saginaw, Michigan 48603
