Paul E. Ostrander, age 62 of Saginaw died at home on July 16, 2020 after a long battle with cancer.  The son of the late James and Helen (Wells) Ostrander, Paul was born May 16, 1958 in Saginaw. He married Cynthia K Thompson on January 22, 1979 in Saginaw.  Paul was employed in mechanical contracting work until ill health forced an early retirement.  Paul enjoyed being outdoors, riding his Harley-Davidson, and spending time with his grandchildren

Surviving are his beloved wife, Cynthia; dear children, Franklin (Holly) Ostrander, Alan (Missy) Ostrander, and Shawntea (Daniel) Perez; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 8 siblings, Jimmy (Cheryl) Ostrander, Donald, Harold, Larry, Linda, and Helen Ostrander, Velma McKee, and Shirley Anderson; special friends, Tom Huell, Walt Lysakowsky, and John Hall; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by 3 siblings, Carol Schick, Pauline Cartier, and John Ostrander.

The family extends a special thanks to Hospice nurses Nicole and Melissa and special social worker, Cynthia.

Memorial Service will take place 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave in Saginaw.  Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday rom 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00.
